I painted my front emblem black, and i'm convinced there is no way to get that thing out without breaking it, but it fits so well that you can't tell one of the diamonds broke off.

Car looks great, i think i'll have to try some of this stuff

Also, the hood scoop looks good CF'd, so I'd like to see it PD'd....For example, the circled areas would be PD'd.... Any comment are appreciated.
i would not plasti dip any exterior painted body parts on my car.. take them to a pro and get it done right the first time, rather then doing it wrong multiple times.. Emblems are less then 20 bucks to replace, a hood vent or a front lip, not so much...

^^ right, I never pass up the idea of doing it the right way, professionally. But since I do have a new front lip and hood scoop in mind, I was thinking why not? Anyway, my buddy who deals in vinyl just said that he'll hook me up with some leftover flat black vinyl to cover those pieces, so the PD idea is out the door! lol

Plasti-dip is not that much different than vinyl if you think about it. It's like liquid plastic.

BTW, to the OP or whoever else knows. How did you plasti-dip the button surround for the trunk button? Did you remove it or just mask it with tape?

Wow dude... Over 2 years old! lol
Yeah, when you open the trunk and pull out the liner, the button housing is pretty easy to get at. Pretty straight forward to pop off too.
