The fact that 2 of the old holes work would make me feel a lot better about this installation. You at least have a "base" to go off of. If you had to drill new holes all around, that is when it gets tricky/nerve-wracking. Good job, OP!

Oh yeah, and 2 of the new holes you have to drill are actually marked on the decklid already. Just drill into the circle. That easy!!

I installed tall wing on my GSR yesterday. I only punched through 2 already marked holes and that was it. Time? 10 minutes at max

So you had the non-sss wing and it was marked already for 2 additional holes?

Yes the 2 required holes for the tall spoiler are already marked on the inside of the decklid.

I'll have to wait to find a good deal on one of these in WW. But in this color they're hard to find.

I have a 2014 MR with the lip, I just bought the wing and was wondering if all the holes were "marked" under my trunk? I think it is 3 holes per side. Anybody know what drill bit used? I'm thinking it might be a 6mm. Will order the bolt gaskets too.

You have to drill 4 new holes and fill in 2 holes with epoxy.
I have personally installed 3 tall wings on non SSS X's. I have only ever had to drill 2 holes, 1 per side. The holes are already "marked" being that you can see the indentation where the holes should be. Also, i would recommend to anyone doing this, to grab some sealing tape and lay it under the spoiler before you bolt it down. Once you drill new holes, they would let moisture into the trunk.

Should have just posted in the WTT on the market section since I'm pretty sure that A LOT of people would like to trade that NON-WING trunk of yours for their SSS trunk. Saves you time from drilling.
