Smile Voltex Type 5 1700mm images

I picked up my Voltex Type 5 1700mm GT wing from Evasive this past week.

here are some images i took messing around.. 'unwrapped' images when its actually installed.

(the below image is the hinge spacer for the trunk arms)

and with a Comparison with a 1500mm Type 3 wing i have for the Z...

Rear view at some angles makes the wing look enormous, but it's actually shorter than the width of the car. The 1500mm wing that is quite popular (since its on all the Japanese pictures..) is so it conforms to the japanese car inspection rules... I opted to get a wing that is closer to the width of the car as to better utilize the cleaner air flow...(also based on the suggestion from Evasive...)

Turns out the pedestal widths are exactly the same as their Type 3 wing, so these two are interchangeable for me. I actually think the Type 3's curvature matches quite well with the Evo X's trunk curvature.... i'm not going to put the wing on until the rest of the stuff gets here.. More updates later..

comments? Salad bar jokes? my build will be documented for MotoIQ.com's project Evo X..woot.

So you did get it!

I like to know what you got on deck...Especially your wheel choice.
