Hey everybody. Just wanted to post a few current pics of my car. I bought the car used with 7,000 miles completely stock aside from tints about 2 months ago. I've tried pretty hard not to mod the car but haven't been able to stop myself. Its definitely a change from my last car, a 300whp SC'ed RSX-S.
As of now, its pretty much at the point of where I want it. Who knows how long that will last though. I've put some reviews about stuff I've bought for the car so far in case people are considering buying the same mods. Let me know that you guys think
Stuff I've bought for the car
Avic F900BT in-dash -this thing has its issues. Overall i think its worth the $500 price tag, but if i would have known what it would be like i would have just stuck with my Avic D3.
Ralliart Mats -look great but I could have probably gone without the red stitching. My car didn't come with floor mats since I bought it used at a Toyota dealer, so any mats were an improvement for me.
Factory optional aluminum shift knob -makes shifting alot easier because its hefty
Amber DRLs- BY FAR the best way to spend 2.99 on your X. Looks 100 times better than the stock yellow-looking bulbs. Best money I have spent on the car so far.
Rexpeed polarized mirrors- I have no clue why i bought these. They eliminate glare and blind spots pretty well....they look cool?
Honda CRV antenna- free because it was stolen from a family member's car and replaced with mine
OEM Aero Kit- I've had my share of aftermarket lip kits and bumpers, and a result I won't buy anything other than an OEM lip kit. The best part about the kit? The side skirts basically eliminate the need for mudflaps.
Ralliart Tails- Probably the second best way to spend money a 2008 X (2010 owners got lucky), especially if you're driving a PB, AS, or GG. Look much better than pink stock tails as I'm sure everyone knows by now. Thought about putting a slight tint on my stock tails but didn't feel like getting pulled over.
Performance
TWM shoft shifter w/ aluminum bushings -huge improvement over the stock shifter. Feels alot more solid, throws are noticeably shorter, and the neutral position is shifted back into the center of the unit as opposed to it being offset towards the passenger. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who doesn't love the stock shifter.
COBB AP- Right now I'm running Stage 2 without the boost pill removed and it feels great.
UR mini-muffler test pipe- This thing is awesome, does not sound like a test pipe at all. I added it to my BR crossflow and the sound difference is barely noticeable (if at all). Comes with a defouler built in, so no CEL, pretty sweet. I could definitely see myself keeping this for a very long time, hopefully it doesn't get too much louder after it wears.
Buscher Racing Crossflow Exhaust- Love how this sounds. I made a few sound clips with the UR mini-muffler but they don't do it any justice. The exhaust is great quality but my only qualm was with the clamp that holds the back end of the pipe to the muffler. I couldn't get it to hold the muffler in place no matter what, ended up getting those 2 parts welded. You can definitely tell the exhaust isn't stock, but it is by no means loud or obnoxious, great exhaust.

lol thanks man. I don't know if you remember but i asked you about how much you paid for your X when i saw it either somewhere on clubrsx or on here. I was in the process of getting the X at the time. RSX was great but the one thing I don't miss is having no traction
