A friend of mine is doing this marketing gig for a Mitsubishi dealership in eastern Canada. They're promoting the new Evolution X (first true Evolution model ever to be legally sold in Canada, excepting those over 15 years old) as well as the Lancer and Lancer Sportback through a series of contests and promotional videos (in a mini series).

It's a promotion for a particular dealership, not for the whole country. The Evo is pretty expensive up there so they don't sell many (nor do they actually have many to sell).

 

Maybe in Eastern Canada.

Pricing for the Xs here in Canada is pretty sad! I think that in 5 years after all the US warranties have expired, well see many more Xs up here

 

I only saw one Evo X when I was in Canada in June. It was at a track day at CFB Edmonton. They're definitely not common!

 

My Evolution came from the dealer who runs these ads.
