Thanks! I mocked up the image in PhotoShop, they took care of the rest. Knob feels great, both weight and texture. Only problem is the engraving is clocked 90* cw when knob is fully tightened. Need to contact them and see if it has the wrong insert..

Use a dab of blue Loctite on the threads, and you can position the knob any way you like. My factory RS knob fit the same way as yours. At first.

Best EVO Shift Knobs! Is your shift knob DLC coated?

Hey Guys,

Did you know that our custom finish shift knobs are DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) coated?

DLC is among other applications used in the engines of modern supersport motorcycles, Formula 1 racecars and NASCAR vehicles to reduce abrasive wear.

How tough is DLC, take a look at this You Tube as we try to refinish one of our DLC coated shift knobs:

There are different finishes in DLC, Black (TWM Performance, Black Pearl, Gun Metal and Graphite) Gold (TWM Performance Championship Gold) and Bronze (TWM Performance Brushed Bronze)

Here another You Tube of a Championship Gold finish durability test:

Here is a pic of what they look like incoming from our supplier:

TWM Performance is the only Shift Knob manufacturer to offer DLC coating. The reason, cost, the process is very expensive and time consuming, but we think it's worth it! What do you think?

Get your TWM Performance shift knob today:

Questions? PM us or email sales@twmperformance

Thanks Guys!

Im thinking about ordering this shift knob from blox...The only thing is the website says gunmetal, but the picture they posted makes it look sort of brown or copper.

Anyone have this knob and can post a picture, or atleast verify its color?

You guys should make a burnt looking one. I'd be all over it!!!

Which one did you specifically order? I can't find it on the website anywhere. I would like the same one with the collar but the site says they dont make the one with the collar :|

Also did it come with that black ring for the boot too?
