Quality control is the thing with HDR pictures, nice shots. I don't shoot with a tripod either (during magic hour), so I know what you mean when you say that... shoot a memory card full, and only end up keeping a few with the way editing goes.

These aren't HDR. I did a different way.
I use a tripod usually, but I didn't have one in my car today.
The last 3 pictures are grainy because they are shot on my kit 28-135mm f/3.5 lens at near max focal length, so it's really shooting at f/5.6. I had to use a lot of ISO to compensate.
The first picture was show with my Canon 15mm f/2.8 fisheye @ f/2.8, which is why it's very crisp. ISO was 100 or 200 for that shot I think.
