IMO it looks good and would be functional if you shift using the base shifter (I agree that the base shifter is a little too low)...

I like it. I also find that the stock shifter sits a bit low. If it is around 300usd, I think it is reasonable for a Jdm product. All jdm are overpriced anyways.
