Not sure what the Rota's are running, but these were $1300 shipped without tires. You get to pick your offset and width. Nothing is preset as these are made to order.
Very Nice... :-)

Rota's cost you about 1k ... but these are way better in looks and quality.

I have to say, I think this is my favorite wheel for the Evo X.

Great Choice...

I think you helped me make my choice as far as wheels for the spring. I love the fact these are custom order with certain offsets you want.

Any reason you did not go with +22 offset and went with +25 offset?

Yes, being able to get the wheels in whatever offset and width you want is very nice. Then you add in the weight and I just couldnt pass them up. Honestly, when I purchased these I didnt really know what I could get away with as far as offset. So I played it safe. But now that I have them, I am pretty happy. This way I also have room for a little bigger tire if I want. But there is some rub at full lock in the front as is.

Glad I could help you choose your wheels!!

Yeah something with a bigger offset would help with the lock out rub. So like +22 or +20 would help with the rubbing, but then you would need more camber and maybe some fender flaring to get the wheels just right.

Either way they look fantastic.

Wheels look very nice. What vendor did you purchase these from for $1300 shipped?

After reading about forgestars on the 370z forums, I'm having second thoughts about buying a set.

How long did you have to wait for your wheels and where there any quality issues?

I got my wheels through Double Down Motorsports. They had a group buy a while back but they arent vendors here anymore. To be honest, I waited forever for these wheels. I paid for them at the beginning of August and they were finally delivered the first week of November. Overall, the wheels are defintely worth the wait. I wouldnt go through Forgestar themselves though. They never answered any of my questions either. But when going through DD Motorsports I got all the info I needed relatively quickly. They even got my new centercaps shipped out from Forgestar on the same day I asked for them and I had them the next day. I am not here to vouch for Forgestar, but I am more than happy with my wheels. The quality seems to be pretty high, but I am not an expert on wheel design and haven't had these long enough to expose any potential issues. With a little planning and patience, I would think that anyone else can get the same deal I did.
