Thanks for all the comments guys, and yes I did. If you want it to look like the rest of the outside plastic parts on the car you want to use the ultra-flat black.

the high beams are projectors, they don't use reflectors.

I would do this in a second if i wasn't scared of ripping apart my $1000 headlights and then risk getting condensation in them later.

The painting part is easy, I've had good results with krylon fusion on my old rsx headlights, but i was way more gutsy when the headlights cost $100-200
