Why would you get tires that are less wide than stock on the same size wheel as stock? That makes no sense to me.

Also, the cage does not look legal.

Because i they are cheaper and i buy them part worn, i use the car on circuit not on the road so not really fussed about agressive looking wheels. The cage is perfectly legal in the uk, it has been built by one of the biggest cage companies in the uk!

If you're concerned with cost, why didn't you simply go with a wide wheel (Like a 9.5 or 10 inch) and squeeze a 265 or 275 extreme summer tire (Like the AD08 or Star Spec) on it?

They'll last a lot longer for the cost and offer you similar grip.

I run 265/35/18 R888s and I'm lucky to get four track weekends out of them; my star specs (mounted on my OEM wheels) did 4-5 events and still have nearly full tread and quite frankly, aren't vastly down on grip in comparison.

Ride is sick. Love the AP rotors and calipers!!!!!

Why didnt you go with a GiroDisk 2 piece rotors, SS lines and aggresive pads?

Why did you get Red? I would have gotten white. Why did you get those brakes? Red Brembos would flow better. Why did you put tire shine on the tires? I would just rub it off and leave them original with the mold release still on.

If they bring a X RS to the US I will upgrade from my IX RS. I love the car. Can you post a pics of inside the trunk? Very nice.
