I run 265/35/18 R888s and I'm lucky to get four track weekends out of them; my star specs (mounted on my OEM wheels) did 4-5 events and still have nearly full tread and quite frankly, aren't vastly down on grip in comparison.

I think you are missing the point, i use part worn touring car slicks. They will not stretch any further than a 9x18 size wheel. Which is exactly why i run this size wheel! If you are making your tyres last 5 events you aint driving it hard enough!

If they bring a X RS to the US I will upgrade from my IX RS. I love the car. Can you post a pics of inside the trunk? Very nice.

I cleaned the car and wanted the wheels to look clean so used to meguairs tyre gel.

They wont bring the X RS to the states because you cant drive on the correct side of the road
