So a couple days ago I got bored, cleaned up the X from the snow trips and decided to go out and snap some pictures as it was sunny out and had just rained that night. So here they are. After several hours of editing and working with Photoshop I'm posting up my latest pictures. Pictures where taken using my new Nikion D5000 DSLR and Adobe PS HDR merging + tone mapping. Overall I think it was a good shoot. I still got a few things to learn...and buy. So what you think? Normally I don't post on here...and I will probably get bashed for having Rota's...but here it goes.

What location are the abandoned buildings at? I'd love to have a shoot with my car there as well....I have several buddies that live in Martinez.... hope to bump into you some time!

 

I know that wing is nice and tall but it looks short because of the rack on top of your car.. none the less very nice looking evo.. last pix is my Favorite

 

It's the old Naval base on Mare Island in Vallejo. Still activity on the island just not Naval, LOL. And they are creating residential areas on the island too. Whatdo your buddies drive?

 

Very nice car and very good picture quality. I do have a question though lol it may be dumb but why'd you say you might get bashed for having the rotas? are they a bad wheel?

IMO they are good. Haven't tracked them yet...but people on here sometimes have the "go big or go home" mentality and with that saying they usually say "go volk or go home" when ever someone gets Rota. But I like the, and would buy Rota again...

 

hahaha were the lines in the parking lot wet paint? It looks like u got paint on your tires. Beautiful car though.

 

Car looks great! You definitely don't deserve to be flamed. The wing is so tall it helps me visualize my car wingless.

Noticed this too. One and only suggestion: A little bit of tire shine would work wonders in your case.

 

Haha not wet paint. It had actually rained that night so dust deposits of concrete got trapped in a low spot on the parking structure...ran over it...parked and noticed it...didn't even mean to do it on purpose...all accident. Haha. In the picture below it u can see a horizontal like going thru the parking spot...that is where the dust collected. LOL.

 

Thanks so much dude. Good to hear positive comments on here. Haha I had only like 2 hours at most to get these shots done as the sun was already setting, and with the car still wet I just passed on the tire shine, LMFAO. Next time though.

 

How do you like the roof rack. Any chance of damaging the paint with it?

 

Nope. I love it and it works perfect. The stands have rubber pads, clips are rubber coated and the fairing has a foam pad on the bottom of those. So no paint damage.

I had Rota's on my Z before i sold it.
The look sick and in my opinion are good bang for the buck!
