Did anyone elses Evo X come with the small "gts" wing. Mine did..and it looks like a Toyota. Does the larger wing use the same holes? Or am I better off removing it all together? Thanks, Chris

As to what you're better off doing, that's up to you.

 

You can buy an SSS wing (or SSS + Aero wing which includes the gurney flap, or a carbon fiber replica SSS wing) from another member here and drill the new holes for it or you can remove the GTS wing and plug the holes, or you can remove the GTS wing and fill the holes and re-paint, or you can ditch all those options and just get a Do-Luck (or replica) trunk and paint or leave unpainted, or you can get an OEM style carbon fiber trunk and paint or leave unpainted, if you go wingless you can add the OEM lip spoiler, or OEM style carbon fiber lip spoiler. You can cover up the holes with the horrible looking carbon fiber stick-on pieces, or you can leave the GTS wing on and add the OEM lip spoiler as the car comes with the Aero kit with no SSS kit. You can ditch all of these lip/wing styles for a Voltex 1700mm huuuuge wing, or any other Time-Attack style wing of your liking or that fits the budget. An Evo VIII or IX wing can be fitted to your trunk as well. You can also leave the GTS wing alone and look like a Toyota.

LI EVO, sorry if this sounds condesending but how could you think no one else would have the gts wing? i mean, its an option. idk maybe it was rhetorical but still. what do you want to do? take a look around for a while and figure out what you like best. chances are there is a tutorial on how to do it. good luck.

 

Ive been on this site for atleast an hour or 2 everyday for a month and a half.. but have only seen one or 2 with the gts wing... the question was rehtorical.. was just looking to see if others were as unhappy with it as i was and what they had done to fix it.. im thinking i will just remove it and plug up the holes

 

theres actually quite a few evos out there with the small wing. and a lot more that originally came with the small wing.

or u can look on ebay and get a replica.

mine actually came with the evo wing and i took the big, never in the right spot, attention getting, tale tale sign i actually have an evo wing off. i then found and bought a gts wing and put it on. love the gts wing so much more than the evo wing. just my opinion though.
