I just bought an SSS wing for my evo x gsr (small wing), I was wondering if its possible to only bolt it up with only one screw on each side and put some 3m tape around to hold it. The reason which I do not want to drill new holes is because of the winter here. Im scared that rust would get into it.

the SSS wing is the higher wing just fyi.

But anyway, I would just drill the 2 holes and use 3m tape all around. That would mirror the factory install, and I never had any rusting issues.

 

If you drill holes, put primer / paint over it. I'd also recommend using some weather proof tape on the inner edges of the contact points to keep water out.
