It's a sleeve so the back is exposed...drifter style
I got them from Prosport Gauges, but they are $10 a piece now.
you can put this on the a piller to try to hide the brackets with the vinyl like this.Im pretty sure you can cut it up and make it look real good.

Why dont you just remove the "foot"bracket entirely and bolt straight through the a pillar trim
, decent sized washer on the back to increase surface load bearing area (not that there is any real weight in the gauges) the bracket serves no useful purpose at all, you have already holed the trim for the wires.
With it bolted in place it would improve vision, look less thrown in to place, and you would still have the ability to rotate the entire gauge as well as the current pivot option.
