Dude, I love the tranny. I seriously would never go back to a normal manual gearbox since having the MR. Maybe, and thats a big maybe, if Mitsubishi had a 6 speed manual in a MR trim EVO I would consider the manual. Of course the 6 speed would need to be able to handle higher horsepower like the 5 speed is able to handle.

Hey I was reading your mod list and about your tires and how their 265. I was thinking about keeping my stock BBS rims, but getting wider tires like 265 from the original 245. Do you think I would be able to do that without any cutting or changing the rims. Also if yes what kind of tires would you recommend. I wanna try to get tires that would be wider preferably 265 and something that would soften of the ride quality, quiet the road noise, but most importantly keep the performance of the stock ones or possibly even better. I'm kinda new to this and this is my first Evo so I don't know much about that kind of stuff.
Thanks

i do sometimes... based on how much easier it is to make power... but then i put it in sport manual... and rifle through the gears......thy will figure things out soon how to get some decent numbers with this tranny... and once they do it will be a monster
