would the varis front bumper be compatible with a voltex front lip if we opted out of getting the carbon front lip that comes with it

While I don't know if it's ever been attempted, I would imagine it's not a direct bolt on affair. The Voltex front lip is specifically designed for the OEM bumper, and the Varis bumper for the Varis or Runduce front lip.

No, the way it is designed to mount up, it will not fit onto the Varis bumper.

I have this wing installed and it's a nice piece to have, downforce is more noticable when compared to stock. I have it adjusted to the flatest position possible so there isn't too much downforce right now, but I seen it at full tilt for fun and man it's pretty slant. You can expect a good amount of downforce when adjusted to the max. If you compare to the Voltex Type 5, the Voltex is more serious in producing downforce. The Varis Eurospec wing is more of a street wing. For style and light track duties. If you looking for constant 120+ mph car control, I would not recommend this wing.
