on evo x's the caliper sits further in so it actually doesn't require thick spacers at all... additionally running a slightly higher offset wheel (not so high that the backspacing/offset causes clearance issues with the rear trailing arm, which also sits further in on the x then the 8/9 , then allows for spacers in the front that are tailored to bring the wheel out just enough to clear the spring/perch on the coilover as well as the caliper bleeders, and not so much that i can't fit them in the fenders ) allows for a staggered wider track which helps turn in greatly....same **** i have been doing for years on my evo 8s

So these Classics do require spacers to fit right? I was going over the fitment of the 18x10.5 with CCW a few months back and they told me spacers were inevitable since the back plates on the Classic wheels are made too shallow.

Yep for the front... The face design makes it impossible for big brake cars without but that's not a bad thing

looks nice but seriously you're not a good photographer.
did you have to mod the fenders? like roll or pull?
18x11? are you aware of what is actually possible with the car?
did you consult with anyone before doing this?
seriously just kidding

yep front fenders and rear quarters are obviously modified..... yes 18x11.... not sure what you mean by am i aware of what is actually possible with my car...but i am thinking 18x11.5 are for sure possible maybe bigger with 305 or 315
i consulted my 12-14 years of wheel fitting and knew what i wanted to do.....also knew i wanted to run a wider front track on the car. i hit up Dan at ccw about it after i saw his thread about wanting to do it....i have TONS of wheels/tires if different widths and offsets and TONS of spacers in all assortments so i started trying different things.....did a bunch of measurements and with that i got all the info together and me and dan went back and forth for a bit and once we were in agreement we basically knew it could be done so i ordered them and a month later here we are
