ive been searching for a while, even used google search and still no luck. just wondering if anyone has powdercoated their X MR BBS wheels. looking for gloss black. or if anyone has any photos, or a link? thanks!

 

Mine aren't BBS MR but they are Bronce powder coated.

 

Though those are nice wheels, I think it kinda defeats the purpose of it being a thread about MR BBS, lol.

I will be doing this when I change my tires, gloss black even. I did it to my Evo IX BBS wheels, and it came out so good. I loved it. Made the car look pro. I can post pics of the IX BBS in gloss black if you like.

 

ive seen it plenty of times, and it looks awesome, kinda curious how the X BBS's would look like, especially on a CT9A, but pics on X's would be appreciated also.

Here is a quick and dirty of a graphite gray.

 

I think that would look pretty good imo

 

Here's a better shot. the last ones were more gray.

 

I have heard that powder coating forge aluminum rims will weaken them(but i dont think there has been any studies on this phenomenon). It all depends on what temp is used to powder coat.
