My new Air Intake :-)

Just wanted to share this beautiful piece I picked up yesterday!
Can't wait to get it installed and see what it brings to the table.

Much love :smitten: to Antspec and Niesi Engineering.

NOTE: Air Filter installed backwards to show off the nice rocket design :-)

pfft what you know about jay dee emm yo?

wait is it? i just took the purple as being from hks

i don't understand why or how having a velocity stack in the intake filter would help, considering there are velocity stacks in the surge tank already. but what do i know.

Yeah pictures has the filter slipped over the MAF hole, this was to show more details of what would be inside the filter. I will re-take a new picture.

By surge tank I'm assuming you mean intake manifold, and no there aren't velocity stacks on the stock intake manifold. Even if there were, the turbo sucks air through the intake tube. The velocity stack allows the air to smoothly and evenly enter the tube while maintaining it's velocity and filling the whole tube right to the walls without turbulence.
