fitment on mine was literally worse than s**t. derek at rexpeed only try to patronize me with blame, telling me to go to a "professional body shop" to get it done. having worked at a body shop before and molding my own carbon fiber parts a few years ago, i laughed at his attempt at brushing off responsibility and threw that s**t away. i couldn't get it to sit flush to anything at all, not even close. i can accept a small amount of gaps in fitment, it being a replica and all, but mine won't even sit right.

if you do want to buy though, yes you need to drill holes for it to fit. three of them. two on bottom, one at the wheel well.

just fyi though. only thing i got to fit acceptably was his hood scoop. everything else had gaps or some random defect that i brush off most of the time when i can. also, more often than not, his parts will shred through your paint for reasons i'll never understand.

if you get the r style lip, though, chances of it clipping your paint will be much lower, since it just sits under your bumper. i suggest you try that.

Glad I found this thread. Are the fitment issues applicable to other Rexspeed lips such as the R-style splitter > http://www.rexpeed.net/new2007/produ...php?serial=178

Thanks in advance from a Sydneysider (who is far away from Rexspeed).

Rexpeed quality and fitment isn't exactly the greatest... So you get what you pay for.

Maybe I"ll just pass. I can't be bothered to go through the effort of having to deal with a crap fit... the only issue for me is that even though I want other brands of parts, the shipping from the states is the killer (we're talking $500ish USD for shipping a lip).
