just messing around and installed a stainless steel fire extinguisher came out good

the reason i did it was i saw a video of a man and his new x he had a loose fuel line and cought his car on fire by luck he got it out and after much work and rewiring . he had it fixed and in the next video i saw he had mounted a fire extinguisher and it seemed to be a good idea. i took some pics what do u think it reall take no room it is flush with the floor

I'm guessing it's one of those foldable chairs.

lol yep it is a fold up chair. I could have put it under the card board floor but i wanted to be able to get to it with a trunk full of stuff. so i could just flip the clamp that holds it and lift it right out

I see the point, but the chances of a fire vs the added weight don't really help you much.

I dont think it really weighs that much for you to be able to feel the difference. I like this idea just in case you need it for yourself or to help others. Its like having a first aid kit.

i'm gonna go and say that the first aid kit may be more useful than the fire extinguisher...

do consider relocating the extinguisher somewhere inside the car where it's easily accessible.
i have friends who have had theirs mounted in the little space at the side of the driver's seat. (smaller extinguisher of course)

Off topic, but I have a question. I am in the middle of a similar sub/box install using the stock rf sub box and aftermarket amp and sub. How does it sound? I've had my sub (RF P2) in a similarly sized sealed wooden box and expected similar sound using the evo X rf sub box. However, so far, I'm not getting anything near the sound quality with it. I was just wondering what you've experienced with it. Feel free to shoot me a PM if you don't want this thread to go off topic!

That would be my first choice of where I would put it for the simple reason of accessibility. I personally think a first aid kit is more useful though.

sound much better than factory . at fist sound quality was not good i turned down amp to about 50% it is now clear hits much harder than factory. all i did was use the wires that ran to speaker. i used a adapter to convert them to rca to the amp than back to speaker i had to use a 1/2 inch spacer speaker was to deep
