will cf front lips scratch evo?

id say if stuff like dirt or sand or salt gets in between the lip and the bumper that it would def be a possibility. i would suggest either installing weather stripping around it so stuff cant get in there or maybe putting clear bra material on the paint before the lip goes on to prevent it.

Check out APR diffusers/front-splitters if that's what you're looking for... they make one for both aero package front lips and non-aero plain front bumpers.

I think they're $340 retail and $240 from driveline or bpauto or something like that...

Yes it will scratch. I have a CF lip that goes over the bumper. When I hit one of those parking logs, it pushed the lip into my bumper, so there are marks. If you get ralliart style lip or the do-luck looking ones, you should be fine. I'm eventually going to repaint my bumper... or get the oem lip that will cover the scratches on my bumper. This is the style I have...

i put a clear bra on my front bumper first before i put on my varis replica lip. when it scratch, it just scratches the bra. when i take the lip off, the paint is untouched.
