Peanut butter?

I waxed my car for the first time and did not know it was a B#tch to get wax off our trim. A friend suggested peanut butter to clean it off. Anyone try this does it work? If so how long would i have to keep it on there?

i wouldnt imagine you would leave the peanut butter on, prob just rub/buff it in a bit and then wipe it off.....

EDIT: lmao.....the how to guide demonstrates how to do so with peanut butter, thats great

It doesn't help you now, but if you use a polymer-based polish instead of a wax, you can get it on the trim and it won't damage or discolor it. Longer-lasting, too.

"The peanut oil found in peanut butter contains mild acids such as palmitic acid, oleic acid and linoleic acid that work to break down and remove the wax."

This is also why you can use peanut butter to remove sticky stuff from just about anything... Like if you stick a piece of gum on your car. Or you need to remove a sticker from it and all the sticker stuff. Or a sticker on a toy. Etc etc. The uses are endless, and it's totally safe and non-toxic for... well.. pretty much everything that isn't allergic to peanuts. Works like a charm, I use it every time.
