Looks great and congrats. Nothing looks sexier than PB when it's clean but keeping it that way is a chore.

Nice X congrats. I have to ask though: why on earth did you trade in that nice WRX for that Mazda?

Well, it probably doesn't look like it, but the WRX was modded to the point that it wasn't a good daily driver anymore. I was actually looking at the new GR STIs at the time but got the MS3 for a good price and felt that it had the performance I was looking for. The MS3 was a far better handling and feeling car then my WRX ever was, had great fetures and ammenties, though the torque steer, increasingly poor clutch and transmission feel wore me down to where I didn't enjoy driving it anymore.

In hind sight, I should have waited, kept the WRX for another year or so, and saved money for an Evo Ten.

I have a soft spot for the bugeyes and hawkeyes. Nice car. I had a bugeye WRX wagon put my X in its place recently. It certainly wasn't stock and I still am Those boxers are freaking LOUD. Good times.

Congrats on the purchase

Did they have any other evos in stock? Did they lower their price quite a bit?

Yes Carriage's pricing is pretty competative on pricing and they said they try their best to keep as many as possible in stock but they sell so quickly. They advertised the one I got on Autotrader at invoice. I mentioned a particularly large West Coast dealer, and they were very aware of them and their pricing, and said they would like to be the same for the East coast.

In the week that I bought mine they sold 3 and had 3 coming in which they've since sold. I know that doesn't sound like big volume but for this region, that's quite a few. I'm from Houston Tx, so I'm used to seeing a dealer move that much on a single weekday.
