I actually have an Evo now
I wanted back into a AWD car after only having a MS3 for 2 years, and was trying to pick between the GR STI and Evo X. After actually getting the chance to drive both back to back while out of town on business a month ago (thank you Jerry Mitsu in Hunt Valley MD), it was really easy to pick which one I wanted. Yes test drives really do count as the STI and X very different animals.
I've loved Evos well before they brought them to the U.S. and finally got an X last weekend. Had the hardest time finding a new or used on in my market and had to shop the neighboring states for one, finally finding one in Gainesville GA at Carriage Cars. Best buying experience I've ever had, handling most all the transaction via email and a few phone calls (even my trade in info) with Paul Nicholas, the Internet sales manager. In the market or know someone who is, hit him up, he also does Nissan, Kias and luxury brands.
Here's a couple pics of the new and some of the old (not shown is my 05 WRX wagon)
got an AP Stage I and that'll be it for quite a while. Then I'll keep it light and simple with some wheels, swift springs, and a tbe. Not going to go overboard like I did on my Subarus.

Traded the MS3 for the X

Traded the WRX for the MS3

Traded the EP3 for a 05 WRX wagon

Wow actual replies already. Thanks! Yeah I got a ritual I do when I get a new car where i do a full clay and wax and sometimes polish. I love this forum and got a lot of good advice on the MS3 thread in the General, and the best being just go drive one and see.
All the advice I got on the Subaru forums was saying how one could spend $3-5k in suspension mods and get it to feel like a stock Evo X. Not to bash on Subaru, as I love them still and still looking to get a GD for a project car.
One thing I'm not used to is the props and nods I already get, everything from kids in Scion TCs to middle agers in new M3s. This car gets a good bit of attention.

Congrats! I just got my 2010 SSS WW a couple weeks ago. I love it.
However no trade in for me. I still have my 600/600WHP/WTQ Twin GT 3L Audi S4.. Don't think I can get rid of the S4. However redundant both AWD turbo cars are :P
Looking at your progression I think you have steadily stepped it up every trade in.
