Week 1 of Modding my X

So I just bought my 08 X last weekend, and I'm trying to document everything that I do, because it was something I always regretted not doing when I had my integra, the pictures would be so drastic change, because they were so spread out. So after one week heres my baby:

Day I bought her:

Today:
De badged except for Evolution emblem

Nice shot of tint and blacked out headlights from the side

Me thinking I can be a photographer with my cell phone camera.. right.

Better view of the headlights

and again [can see my parents S2K on the right, well the car cover anyway]

more artsy bs that would look so much better with a DSLR

Thanks dude.

got my ETS goodies on the way.

Next is either Cobb AP, or depending on how my tires hold up (i think one has a bubble in it damnit)

18x9.5 Enkei RPF-1 either blue or black, Id really have to get someone to photoshop those blues on there and think long and hard about it, I just dont know how it would look. Black would really go with the whole car more, since im blacking everything out mostly.

OR

18x9.5 Work CR Kai gunmetal.

Both would be wrapped in Bridgestone Potenzas.

those blue RPF1's are hot, if my car was a different color I would definately be getting them, think they would look good on yours, and definately would be different.

yeah, my brother and I did it, because his oven is much nicer and consistent. My oven is +-100 degrees I sware, so I didnt trust it with 1200 dollar headlights. Wasted my whole saturday doing it though , but about 11:30 pm when the car was put back together . I started about 11:00 am, drove around to about 6 different places trying to find plastidip, eventually gave up, went with krylon fusion, but had to drive around to about 3 different places to find black. So all in all, we actually started removing the bumper around 3 o'clock. One hour later we finally removed all those damn clips and got it to come off.

GO ON 3: Thanks man, I appreciate it

Your local Home Depot or Lowe's should have stocked PlastiDip..
There's the dip kind in a can and also the spray kind that I used.
Sorry you spent 1/2 your day driving around.

Home depot and lowes were my first two stops. The "know it all" paint guy was like "oh yeah man.. we used to have that, I think we moved it to hardware" So after roaming every aisle of paint in that entire store and wandering the aisles of hardware and talking to three different employees, I gave up.. went to lowes and same deal. Pissed me off because homedepot's site said they had it in stock in store.

I like the blacked out headlights. Go with black wheels, give a mean look but more mature than blue. If you keep the car long, you'll grow out of the blue but not the black IMHO.

Also Birmingham has a FANTASTIC Auto-X region! Go out there and see what your X can do.

Yeah, I am definitely interested in getting into that, and/or if they ever do a day at barber where you dont have to go to their driving school or have some kind of special license to run out there.
