O
I have painted 2 things, the stock valve cover and the positive relay cover that is it.
And as for the money comment, I have it no problem, but was looking to do something different since everyone and their dog has carbon fiber.
I said many post ago thanks for the opinions and I wasnt going to do it.

You've painted a lot of your engine bay, if I recall, and it mostly looks riced out. Sure, color-matching, if done tastefully, can be good, but over-do it and you've got rice. Doing the radiator shroud would look awful because you need contrast. You need colors like black and/or carbon, or in small cases, polished aluminum/titanium to offset the main color.
The money comment is kind of interesting. If you want to make your bay look better, but want to do it cheaply your options are limited. Save up your money and do it right the first time. Also, don't take offense when somebody voices their opinion, no matter how bluntly or harshly they do it. It's going to happen when you post up stuff like this.

O MY GOD..
That has to be one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. There is not enough
's in the world for this pic.
The sad part is it wouldn't be that hard to make it look decent either. Paint the stupid red pieces back to black and do some wire tucking and get rid of all that retarded red wire covering. I would paint the little coil cover blue instead of red too.

I've always been a fan of blue and cf together.. god, I would trade my car in a second for an OBP w/ CF hood and lip, and some flat black te37's. Holy ****, beautiful.

yeah obp does look good with cf. And i think cf is played out in a way. I had it on my RX-7, and on top of being played out, it is so hard to take care of properly.
but i agree, i didn't paint it due to it just going to be to much blue.

i wet sanded it first then cleaned it with alcohol and then wiped it with a tack cloth. i used a etching primer and then a krylon paint and a krylon clear.
