I ran those for a little bit earlier in the year. They're definitely a pretty good all around pad. Let me know what you think about them after a few more events and such

Am on my 2nd set of Club Racer, I like them but they did start to fade towards the end of the sessions.

I might pick up some up some hard core brake fluid ;-)

The lap times are here for both days: http://www.speedventures.com/results/Default.aspx

The Viper was running a 2:00.6 while the Corvette was a 2:03.0. Im listed on the Acura Integra (Peter Tarach) since that was the car I was supposed to bring until the drive axle failed on it.

have you thought about putting the rear wing back on to see if the added downforce can help increase grip at higher speed limits, thus reducing your time even more?
I have a mid wing, so no big wing for the EVO. I plan to run it next time out just because. I did read on edmunds.com that they tested the car with and without the mid wing and it didnt do anything for lap times at Streets. I wish I had the tall wing but my trunk doesnt have the provisions to install it so Im going to carry on wingless.

Do you run your own transponder for track times? Did SV have the Evo/Wrx challenge on sunday?
Speed Ventures provides the transponder and the havent run the EVO/WRX challenge this year since I think they are still working the rules out. They had S2K and Corvette challenge that day.

I'm also curious about this. Very sick looking seats though for sure

you can fake out the SRS connector with a 2.0 ohm resistor. for the weight sensor you will need to unbolt and right up or transplant it to the new seat.

Like Cheston mentioned, you can use a resistor to not trigger the airbag light, I was too lazy to do. As I mentioned, I already have the TPMS light come on every time I start the car and have to clear that so having an extra light on the gauge cluster isnt a big deal to me.

I run the stock seat belts for daily driving, on the track I use the harnesses. The buddy club rails have provisions to bolt up the stock seat belt clips.

Great install here and I don't think people realize the importance a good race seat makes on the track. Ii am looking to install a Profi XL in my X soon but worried about clearances. I see the shoulder bolster on your seat is close to the b pillar.

Maybe its the camera angle but can you measure the clearance or do you have another picture showing it?

Big props on the install.

Here is a good link on how to turn off you air bag lights when you go to race seat.

Theres about a finger width of distance between the pillar and seat. I dont think youll have a problem with clearance.

BTW- I've had a few people ask where I got the buddy club seat rails and you can buy them directly from Evasive Motorsports.

What's the longest you've sat in these? Can you do long drives in them?
