First mod for the EVO X SE

well, I got my first mod in the mail today, and installed it. It's an upper intercooler pipe from Depo Racing. it's only the upper section because there's really nothing wrong with the lower section, and all aftermarket upper intercooler kits just copy the stock bottom piece anyway. for just this upper section where all the restriction is, it was $100 shipped with couplers, and I bought the t-bolt clamps for $5.00. not a bad deal I don't think lol comes in wrinkle black powdercoat finish. very nice piece.

Stock and Depo UICP side by side:

you won't feel any gains from just an UICP, especially with no tune. It had to pick up some power though because the stock UICP is such a horrible design.

To the OP :

Cobb AP is the next mod I HIGHLY recommend. There is so much power hidden that unlocks when you tune. ; )
