Hard to tell, but from the picture it looks like that is something that could almost be corrected (or at least drastically improved) with some compound and a DA or rotary polisher.

i feel your pain. this past saturday i take out the car after a month of not using it to be with with my little boy and wife. i work 7 days and i also took that saturday off to do something with them.

i come back and see a "ding" on my rear passenger door. my car only has 8200 miles.

I am in the auto body colision industry. Touch up paint will make it look worse.
Try to wet sand and buff it out. If it is too deep in the paint othernsolution is to have a body shop match the paint and blow it in.

You could order a touch up pen from RusselM at mitsubishiparts.net...I touched up a couple chips with it on my GG evo and it looked good however, touch up paint may not be not be the best option for a long scratch like that. Possibly take it to a body shop and see if it could be buffed out or what they think your options are.

Try using a DA and compound as said above if scratch-x doesn't work. It doesn't look TOO deep that it can be corrected.
