Unhappy After Winter Paint Chip Repair

After this winter I have noticed a bunch of small chips in my hood and front bumper. I would like to get them fixed and then clear armor the car.

Has anyone done this before and how did it turn out? Can you see the chips that were fixed or do the blend really well? If you live around me where did you go?

It's such a bummer that the paint on this car is so horrible.

Mods please move if in wrong forum.

Myself and another member picked up some Dr.Colorchip. The other member had great results, I haven't touched mine yet until I clay my car. Check out my posts in the sticky threads for paint chips/paint issues up above.

Check with the warranty coverage you bought, I know for the STI's we have this paint coverage.. and some of us guys got it repainted by the dealer. Japanese car paints suck ***...

Sadly to say if the aforementioned doesn't help it's one of those things that you just have to deal with.

I also forgot. Mitsu doesn't cover paint. It has been gone over at extreme lengths in the sticky. You could talk to the rep but they won't do much it expected to happen with normal driving.

Your insurance company might cover it.

it really depends on the dealership. my dealership was willing to pay a shop to have my car repainted, not the whole car but the panels that i was complaining about.

Automotivetouchup.com also carries some good stuff to get ur paint back up to snuff. I have a clear bra and I still got some chips - "rocks" they fly over the clear bra.....
