Front Emblem replacement options? CF, Ti etc

Searched the forums and the googlewebs, but didnt find anything regarding a replacement front emblem besides painting(currently running a black painted emblem), vinyl overlays, and removal/bumper insert replacement.

I would really love a CF front emblem or something like the "burnt" titanium rear emblem I saw on the forums a while ago.

Where can I get a black vinyl overlay for my grill emblem? Pref. the same as the rest of the grille that matte look. The chrome looks ugly as hell.

You can just get some 3m Di-noc Carbon fiber vinyl. It's pretty cheap and easy to work with. As far as I know, no one makes a Ti-burnt emblem because of the "copyright" right crap. ARC used to make one but they were told they had to stop..

Ya, if you drill down through Lancershop to Evo X > exterior, they only list 2 badges and both are for the rear trunk.

Or.. you can measure your current badges, and compare it to Rexpeed.net as they have 2 in CF.. one that's 5x5cm and the other's 9x9cm.

I didnt have a good experience with those CF emblems from lancershop. I ordered one for my VIII and it was just CF sticker and was aready pealing when I got it. I would suggest doing the 3M Carbon Fiber Vinyl if your interested in a CF emblem. I straight up just painted my emblems flat black so the matched perfectly with the bumper and IMO looks great. I did the trunk one flat black as well, but have debadged since then.

How exactly did you paint it? One of those matte spray cans they sell? I want to this too.

Plastidip spray paint might work well for this.

ARC made some Ti front badges that looked awesome... but Mitsubishi came down with the hammarrr and they were not allowed to sell them. Then ARC went out of business.

just remove the front or back emblem with a hair dryer, or heat gun and pull it off. if for some reason it is stubborn, use a credit car or fish line to pry it off. then get some sand paper and scratch the emblem up. once the emblem is dull wash it off and use matte black high heat paint. it holds up well and will match your grille perfectly.
