These are the biggest pain in the ***. You can't use traditional methods to open the lights, as they used some kind of epoxy that is bonded to the plastic, but I managed to get it done by cutting around the bulb. Placed a chrome dipped bulb in there as well.

Stock is on the left, my modified clear one on the right.

I'll try to put something together possibly tonight.

Just don't use super glue. Because as it dries, the vapors get trapped inside the lens and make it all foggy.

Or you buy chrome dipped bulbs.

White? Depends on your state laws.

Nice, I too have gone through this process, yours seems a bit better though. For me, I would have to have 2 marker lights to make one, sacrificing the lens or body to have two clean sides and glue them back together. Pain in the ***! With my way you can black out the inside, which looks a lot better then blacking out the lens.

I thought about that idea as well, but I wanted a way to be able to replace the bulb if need be, plus I don't care for the look of blacked out lights, so this was a better option. I use a semi-permanent adhesive with silicone sealant around the cut.

Stealth Auto makes some that are really nice. not the thin crappy see thru chrome. if they are in a chrome housing you have to really look to see them. i used them on my Audi to replace orange ones.

just have to know what type bulb your replacing.
