Clear side markers...little project I worked on today.
These are the biggest pain in the ***. You can't use traditional methods to open the lights, as they used some kind of epoxy that is bonded to the plastic, but I managed to get it done by cutting around the bulb. Placed a chrome dipped bulb in there as well.

Nice, I too have gone through this process, yours seems a bit better though. For me, I would have to have 2 marker lights to make one, sacrificing the lens or body to have two clean sides and glue them back together. Pain in the ***! With my way you can black out the inside, which looks a lot better then blacking out the lens.

Stealth Auto makes some that are really nice. not the thin crappy see thru chrome. if they are in a chrome housing you have to really look to see them. i used them on my Audi to replace orange ones.
just have to know what type bulb your replacing.
