First pic looks good. Second pic he did way to much dodging on the car, you've got a halo going on.

Seems like long exposures are becoming pretty trendy these days

Some dodging and burning would go a long way on these. What tripod are you using, btw?

Believe me, there was quite a bit done. I prefer the 1st picture over the second picture for sure, but I wanted to do a front and a back, so i had to make do with what i had. Both pictures are a composite of roughly 10 images a piece.

I'm using a Manfrotto 055XPROB along with a 498RC2 head.

ah, great combo! I've got the 150XPROB and 496RC2. A friend has the same combo as you and I've used it a bit. I went with the 150/469 just because I didn't need the extra weight capacity or height.

If you're shooting RAW, try bringing the Recovery slider up a bit. I think these shots would have been a lot better if there was a bit more highlight detail. The body of the car is almost blown out. Your choice of aperture was great by the way.

Then again, it could be my monitor here at work. Standard issue cubicle monitor designed for office work isn't the best at color reproduction
