attepted this today... make some modifications






Parts list update:[/U]
Hillman T-Nut (from Loews) 3/8-16 X 7/16
Everbilt 5/8 Grommet (from Home Depot)

As you can see the bolts sits just below the front surface of the plate holder. I used a 4 1/2" cutter to cut the bolts and the T-Nut. That way you can eliminate the need for stacking all the nylon washers. So for each attachment point I had: bolt/washer/frame bracket/washer/grommet/T-Nut/3M tape (double layered).

Just wanted to check in with folks who have used this approach to mounting the front plate - how has it held up after years of use? Has the tape held up?
