Not right at all. Using credit which you can't pay for is the reason for our global financial pain. Money, is cash one has in hand.

Back on topic, as if the X needed a wider track!

The only thing I've never liked about widebodies (and I really don't know how to fix) is the inset at the door. The front door looks sunken, because it is to an extent.

Can't wait to see the finished product....Wish Varis had a U.S base so you didn't have to wait 6 months. Look's sick so far though!

When have you waited 6 months for anything from Varis? I'm curious if this is based off of a personal experience or rather something you may have read on the interwebs.

We are one of their stateside official distributors, and based on the feedback we've received from customers who have worked with us, we do a pretty good job of managing lead times.

That comment was NOT directed towards BP Auto at all. I know you guys work very well with your customers and thats why in the near future when I get back to work finally I'll be ordering parts through you, mostly Varis. However I have delt with other companies where my Varis parts both for my X and my 8 have taken 4-6 months to reach me. I also know several other car owners that have waited this long as well...Once again, not from your company. I was just speaking in general that its a long wait and I wish it wasn't, thats all.

Gotcha -- I though one might have slipped through the cracks! Had me looking at back invoices this morning for a good while, haha!

In all honesty, the reputation they previously had with a lot of folks for a very long time was exactly like you stated, which was doing a lot more harm than good. A lot of times Japanese companies don't understand how important it is to have clear and open communication channels especially when dealing with international customer bases that they aren't really used to. Also, a lot of it has to do with vendor to manufacturer communication as well, some vendors aren't as transparent and are quick to blame everyone else when they either don't order things on time for a customer, etc.

The good thing is that things have definitely improved over time, to the point that we're seeing things like this widebody, solely based on the demand that the community forces for the Evo X. It's kind of amazing actually if you really think about it, the effect you guys have on a worldwide level is pretty significant!

All my varis parts came from BP (jason)...always on time (less than 3month) and shipping was perfect (each parts got re-packaged and came safe)! I wish I know him before I order other stuffs.

With Tokyo Auto Salon next week -- I doubt we'll be seeing any more teaser pictures...they kind of want to save it for the big show guys.

Thanks for the kind words Won Chan! Hope you had a great New Years and Christmas with the family.
