The worrying thing is that many people dont know this ..... I only found out when I installed my F-CON and it cut the ignition after a long right hander ..... I've since installed a surge tank!

This is what happens when the F-CON cuts your ignition!!

The stock ECU doesnt detect this issue!

I recommend a map switch and tuned for E85 or 100oct as an option.

I like the idea and it looks great, keep up the good work Ryan.

As for how to fit 285 wide tires in the wheel wells? It can be done, just everything has to be just right for it to work well. You need to have the correct offset and enough negative camber for the wheels to tuck in for one. Up front the plastic fenders need some massaging and stretching with a heat gun and in the rear you just need a decent fender roll to get the lip out of the way. Honestly where the metal meets the plastic is the trickiest spot in the rears.

It would be interesting to explain to a cop that your exhaust is stock when driving this. I also wonder about passing inspection (for noise alone if not emissions). Maybe since it is going to be a "factory" car you could just take it to a mitsu dealer and have no problem getting a sticker. that would be somewhat worth some extra price along with warranty.
