No problem and shoot as much as possible so you get the idea of how to use you're camera and if you already have one, try to get a tripod as-well..def helps a lot.

I have a tripod and used it in a few of these shots. I went out with my friend and he tried to make me understand ISO and shutter speed how they affect the look and when to use them.

Its the Blacktop Aero Front lip. It was on the car when i bought it. The guy who owned it before me went to blacktop aero and they used the car as the prototype car so im not 100% sure if it is the same as the production model but is defiantly similar.

Woah wth?? Shooting in RAW is for photo editing. If youre going to shoot just shoot in jpeg if you dont plan on doing much editing. My advice is get the best picture quality using the camera and its settings. If you want to advance it further then get a program like LightRoom or Photoshop.

Great shots man! I also have the T3i, it's a great camera for us n00bs. I know this is an EVO forum, and I am not sure if there is a similar thread on here but this thread over on NASIOC really helped me out a lot. Tons of great info for anyone into photography, especially for people new to it. Best of luck and keep them coming! http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1263892

Awesome shots! You'll love the camera. Interest in cars + interest in photography provides more than enough subject matter to do both non-stop.
My fiancé has a Nikon D50 with the kit lens. She was trying to introduce me to photography for the first time this year. I snapped these as my first time using a DSLR. I shot aperture priority, but I had the f-stops all wrong.
I can't wait to get a D5100 and hit up a few classes and spend more time going to shows.
