I plan to buy a 2012 MR after my husband returns from deployment, early 2013 (in about a year) I am dead set on an MR... But not yet on color. I am torn between Phantom Black & Wicked White. When I look through the "official" threads... MOST are GSRs. I know they are relatively the same... but I want to see the wingless *** with the MR's BBS wheels!

I was initially set on my next car being white.. but after test driving the PB MR, I really liked the overall look... Open to seeing any color though, I'd just like to see pictures of your relatively stock MR!

(And yes, we will then have His & Hers Evos! lol).

 

Both colors look good, but black is more sexier lol

Ive had truouble coming across good MR pictures, so hoping I can get some members to share theirs!

From what Ive personally seen in person, no one color has been more common... So that's not really my concern. I love the blue but its a lil more "look at me" ... Not exactly what im goin for with this car, haha. One thing I prefer about the MRs is the more mild styling differences from factory.

Downfall about black for sure, lol. My SS was black and I think I said Id never get another black car after that, lol. That was more along the lines of how it tends to hide some of the cars styling whereas other colors accentuate the styling... I am looking for the Evo to be more refined so thats not a concern.. But you do make a point with the blemishes/swirls, etc.

 

I love either the dark grey/silver or the black. Looks good with almost any wheel color or style, can add carbon fiber and looks great without painting. Down side is it is hard to keep clean and looking fresh because of swirls etc. Either is a good choice.

 

Graphite Gray WW and OB are hot imo. White is extremely common tho, but if that was your initial want, i would go with that.

 

Get any color besides WW. Everyone has it and its the most common color. Be different

I would pick WW over PB if i had the option. Only time i hate white is when it comes to color matching. With white, any color scheme goes well with it, its easy to clean (meaning with a rinse off, it starts to look clean and you dont see swirls that much).. but, if black is kept clean, its great lookin.. at the end of the day, I personally like all the colors Evo's come in..
