Evo X MR - Graphite Gray - Detailed by Esoteric Auto Detail

I just had my 2011 Evo X MR detailed by Todd Cooperider of Esoteric Auto Detail in New Albany, Ohio. He is one of the best, and most respected, detailers in the country. He had completed a detailing on my previous toy, a 2005 E46 M3, and the results were amazing. So, when it came time to get a nice polish, wax, and seal on the Evo, I knew who to call. A good portion of my Evo is covered by clear protection film (combination of 3M and Venture Shield), but I still wanted to get a nice coat of wax and sealent over everything to make it easier to clean throughout the year. Todd works out of Studio 47 in New Albany, Ohio, which is home to some of the best independent Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Maserati service. Their shop is amazing. Anyway, Todd once again impressed me in his ability to make even a practically brand new car look even better. There wasn't much paint correction that needed to be done on the Evo, but he still found a few swirls and other marks to fix. The wax and sealant he used to supposed to last 18 months, so everything should be good until I have him do this again at the same time next year. I will post a bunch of photos of the finished product. If anyone has any questions please let me know.

Todd's website is: http://esotericdetail.com/

He primarily works on high end exotics, but also helps out us mere mortals when he has time available. He is a great guy and a true car fan. I would recommend him to anyone.

On to the photos:

This was an exterior only detail and ran $350 plus tax. That is about as cheap as he goes right now. I know he is working on an "express" service that would run a couple hundred and include a wash and quick detail. My car wasn't very dirty to begin with, but the main reason I had this done was to get a nice coat of wax and sealant in the car before the driving season really begins. That way it is a lot easier to keep clean during the year. Once you get a good coat of wax and sealant on the paint all the dirt and bugs seem to just wipe away. Really makes washing your car easier!

Most of Todd's work is more "paint correction" type stuff on higher end cars (Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.). Those services can take several days and easily run into the thousands. A lot of his work can be seen on either his website (http://esotericdetail.com/) or on Detailed Image (http://www.detailedimage.com/). The Detailed Image website is a great place to go to get detailing tips and they also sell a lot of good quality products at fair prices.

P.S. - I am not affiliated with Esoteric Detail or Detailed Image in any way. Just a happy customer trying to get the word out.

I can get my PB looking almost as good with my Porter Cable, but chips, I have tons of paint chips. You appear to have none. Impossible.
