What did Speedcircuit do other than install and tune? Any porting/polishing work?
Also, how is the power band / torque curve? Is most of the power up top or spread throughout?

They don't do porting in shop, but they use someone local who can do that. They assembled the motor, installed it, problem solved a few issues I previously had with my fueling system, then scaled the injectors and tuned the car.

Yeah, the Test & Service rear is nice. It looks OEM, but has a touch of aggressiveness.
A built motor is around $4000-$6000 depending on what options you go with. Mine was $4000 for parts + assembly and machining. These prices also include a core swap. Install prices and other costs are a whole different story. Hit up Speed Circuit for prices. There were a few other X's at the shop getting Speed Circuit built motors while I was there.

Thanks man for the info. Im still far from building a new motor. But i've been thinking making mine 500+ hp with bigger turbo in the future. Awesome project you have I know how happy you are now with your beast! love the car all around. +1 for the engine bay pics

Truly looks great and more aggressive! I also like their front bumper looks like FQ400.
