This stuff is pretty strong. The more coats the better. I used it on my front lip to see how it would look. After a week I got tired of it and decide to rub it off with soap and water. Damn thing will not come off! but then I realize that if you just take a knife and lift one of the corners you can actually peel it off. Theres a whole bunch of YouTube video on it.

I have a rr evo x and plasti dipped the wheels black (3 coats) then put 2 coats of golds metalizer. they turned out awsome with the bronze look. in the light there seems to be a little and I mean little hint of green in it. there is a good bit of metal flake in the metalizer but with it being satin, it looks great. The wheels have been done now for 3 months. It holds up pretty good. The color is still good and no peeling so far. I did my wheels off the car and it took me about 3 hours start to finish. I did learn my lesson on one aspect. role a piece of tape through the lug hole. if you dont , you'll take a chance of pulling the plastic dip and be carefully not to snag your socket on the side when tightening the lug nut. I did this on one wheel and had to start over. took 20 min to peel off. I like the dip on the inside of the wheel. it protects really well from stuff like tar. I'm getting myself lined up for powder coating but can't decide on a color. This is a really cheap way to test colors out. trying the gunmetal metalizer next. Running Rota P45.

Other thoughts. Cleaning the wheel is a bit of a pain. on any spoke wheel there are edges on the sides. be carefull when cleaning them. you can catch the edge with your rag or brush and cause a peel. also with it being a rubber it has a friction to what ever your cleaning with so you have to take your time when cleaning. its a pain but worth it if you like to change things up a lot
