You can paint, you can wrap and you can DIP
I have been wanting a White evo for the longest time. Every time i went looking for one it was accross country or beat up. Now after seeing some youtube video and doing a lot of research theres an affordable solution for my situation.
I have plastidipped on the side for about a year doing wheels, grilles, trim, badges and roofs. Now im ready to take it to the next level and I wanted to experiment with the gallons and spray gun. . All in all, Im very please with the results and the best thing is that it is all removable. The process is pretty straight foward and it is all about the angle of the gun and the motion to avoid drips and texture. It was a great learning experience and I cant wait to try out some other colors they offer now.

A little update;

it will last as long as you want. its very durable and solid when applied correctly. And if you you a tear from rocks or whatever, I can touch it up in 10 min.

I dont know of any shops around here that do it at all. but the place where i got my supplies charge from $600-$1000 depending on size of car. They have done a M3,S4,GTI, Aston Martin, Mercides and some pick ups.

please update after your car gets dirty and if it cleans. I plasti-dipped my wheels white and they would not get clean... Like the dirt embedded itself in the paint and brush washing it didnt do anything

^^ you have to use a synthetic shammy, you can find one at autozone, and soak it in your soapy water bucket and then clean it. It glides right over with out sticking. make sure you cleam it with it being completely satuated. It reduces the risk of tearing an edge.
