I got the muteki "tuner style" extended. They fit perfect, around $100.

How do these wheels hold up? I see a lot of people riding on them. I was already really sold on a set of gram lights, or another set of RPF-1s. But, lately I've been looking at Rotas and now these...

Rotas blow - heavy and not that great looking in my opinion.
If you're going to go cheap, XXR is the only way to go. Weight:Style:Cost ratio simply cannot get any better.

Have had mine about 1.5 years 20k miles an no problems. Best bang for the buck.

You don't need hella low or hella camber. Mine looked fine on GTWORX and -1 to -1.5 rear camber and -2 front. But that's just for better handling.

The Swift Spec R's barely lower the car. I was actually surprised how little they lowered the car. The XXR wheels stick out a little in the back, which I'm not happy about. Seems like these wheels need a slammed EVO with more negative rear camber to look better on. That's not my scene so I might sell these soon and get something with a little less aggressive specs.

Only complaint from me is the paint chips somewhat easily. But great wheels though

Do they hold up to powdercoating? From what I've always been told powder coating weakens metals... So, my question remains, can they be powder coated, and if they are do they hold up? (I don't want boring colors on wheels again, did that with my Mazda, over it).

Not sure. You could ask powder coating place but I don't see why not.
