An inch goes a long way from a visual standpoint. That's also what she said.

I don't think they'll look very good on the Evo. I almost pulled the trigger when they first became available but still haven't found a single picture with them on an Evo. They look great on FRS's and other smaller cars, but just don't think they'll do the Evo justice.

It's not how it looks that matters but how you can make it perform

 

For me it's just wider looks better. Even on the street you are in an Evo, it should be driven as such. A turn in a turn. Lol

 

Meh it's all personal preference and if you are driving the car in public to justify the need for wider tires then you are driving too fast in public. The stock 8.5 inch wheels are more than enough to keep the car on the road in public.

 

It is personal preference in a way but I would think most people wouldn't like the look of a gt3 with Prius tires. There is an expectation that performance cars have wider tires and bigger rotors. When I see a car on the road and I think it looks kind of sporty but want to know if it's a "real" sports car or one meant to look like if I look at tires and rotors. If it has tiny both then I know.

I don't buy the argument you can't have fun on public roads. There are ways to do things carefully. Pushing it on an empty on ramp is fine. If it's full of cars then it's not.

I just think cars with wide tires look bad ***. Others may think differently. Besides that, I'm not at the point I want to change tires every time I go to the track.

One thing i hate about xxr is the wheel caps. Love what u did. What did u use? Stock caps?

 

Lol I also hate how the caps look. I bought a set of overlays from Ebay and they also came with over lays for stock wheels. I sanded down the xxr caps painted them black and put the overlays on. I love the way it came out.

These are the ones I bought.

 

They are over lays for the stock rims. I originally just wanted over lays for the stock emblems on the car, but saw it came with Stock rim overlays. I almost threw them away and was like wait what if I put them on the XXR wheel caps I hate so much.
