Just got some xxr 535's and thought I would share. I haven't seen any pics of them on any evo x's. I'm getting the tires on them this week. Going with a little stretch with a 245/40x 18. I'll post pictures when they are all on.

 

Been waiting for someone to get these. Cant wait to see what they look like mounted.

I have had my XXR for about a year and a half. Been through a ton of canyon runs and 3 track days at Big Willow. They haven't fallen apart yet.

I was searching for "real" wheels but it's difficult to find the style I like. XXR is the perfect style. And when I have found a few styles I liked on the name brand wheels they either weighed pretty close to the same or they don't have the offset I want.

I'm going with gyrodisk rotors which are about 6 pounds lighter per wheel. That will make up for the weight difference.

Thinking about getting a second set of 527's when I decide to move to R compound for the track. Only thing that would make the wheels better is more offset options. I would like to try 275's but think a 25 or 30 offset would be better for them.

 

The offsetting black on your car is awesome.

 

Any ideas how I can find out what knockoffs are on my evo?

 

Still getting the car finished up (bought it as a salvage) but finally got some tires mounted on the 535's. It's an SE with stock suspension and 245 45 18 anteras.

 

Kinda hard to see. You should take a picture from another angle or straight on

 

I didn't have a chance to clean anything up and it's still raining. I will get better ones.

 

Def could use some 265s (at least) but looks goods otherwise. Wheel design gives the apperance of 19s

Nice man. Do you think you'll need to roll the fenders at all?
They are wider and less offset than the 527's so I know they'll stick out a little further.
