does anyone know if ones fitment is better than the others? ive seen some seibon trunks with very poor fitment and was wondering if anyone has seen or has a replica do-luck duckbill trunk with good fitment.

 

i have the Vis and i love it

 

From my experience with replicas.. Especially Carbon fiber reps. It's never a spot on fitment without having to modify the part. If you're willing to take the chance or have experience in modifying a part to Make it fit perfically, then get a replica.. IMO just save up for the real thing.

 

also have the VIS and the fitment is 95% spot on, didn't even have to adjust it at all... wish i could say the same about my CBD frp hood.... pile o crap

 

Sweet, just ordered the vis duckbill trunk and vis cf oem rear diffuser

 

get the real do luck trunk.

 

^ Why? Does the do-luck add more aerodynamics with the rounder bill or something? Or does it provide more rear end safety? Just wondering....

 

I bought the ViS Duckbill trunk along with the ViS CF rear diffuser and still spent less than the real do-luck. ViS is a reputable company so im hoping the fitment is decent. I will post a review once i install them

Installed pics won't be up for a while. I'm going on vacation in 2 weeks and I don't want my carbon fiber baking in the sun without moving for a week lol. Plus I'm debating on whether or not I should paint the trunk or leave it alone

 

I also got the ViS duckbill trunk lid along with the OEM style hood to replace the hail damaged ones. I'll post pics and comments on fitment once installed.

Also tossing around the idea of not painting.
