Which spring drops lower, eibach or swift?

Hey everyone, new to the Evo. Im buying mostly go fast parts but want to drop the car a little bit until I get coils later. Now that I have attempted to give a weak justification, on to the questions. Which spring drops lower, eibach or swift? Both companies claim the same yet pics show eibach lower and that is what I gather from the threads Ive read.

Thank you.

Swift advertises the Evo X drop to be 1.25" front and 1" rear. Eibach says 1.4" front and 1" rear. FWIW here is my X when I had the Pro Kit on.

Edit: I loved my Eibach's.

Eibach. Great ride height for daily driving, looks good but isnt stupid low.

something to consider is just because its lower, doesnt mean it will perform better. Both of these springs and GTWorx offer good ride height without throwing handling characteristics out the window.

GTWorx is lower than Swift and not quite as low as Eibach. I would (did) take them over the Eibachs though.

I am not familiar with GTWorx, what can you tell me about them? Since you told me about the drop, how is the ride?

FYI, Swift (I have the Spec R)also has a pronounced bounce when taking turns hard on uneven pavement.

The ride is great! It is stiffer than stock but doesn't bounce you around on potholes or anything. I've ridden twice in another X with the Eibachs and they felt softer, but comparable. I have not driven the Eibach so I couldn't give an accurate comparison on how they handle, the Eibachs are progressive and the GTWorx are not though I believe.

I went for the stiffer spring rate first and foremost, the large drop just happened due to the spring choice. I'd actually rather minimal drop due to roads in WV, but it's the price you pay

This. I love my Prokits; they're actually my favorite aftermarket lowering springs I've ever installed on any of my cars.

swift has 2 models.... spec r and sport. the gt works drop is middle between the 2. gt works are DESIGNED to work with our oem struts, both mr and gsr type and handling characteristics. besides they are always on here helping others with their suspension issues, regardless if their products are used. i vote for the little guy. especially if they participate in forums and take in account end user. the other brands you wont find a rep on here or any other offering help.

check out my build thread in sig link - very extensive showing of the GTWorx spring

Andrew and Myles@GTWorx simply know their stuff, and it shows even in their performance springs
